ESG Sustainability Reporting Workshop 2023

Campaign Period: 1 March to 13 April 2023

The launch of the inaugural ESG Positive Impact Awards served as a catalyst for Star Media Group’s focus on sustainability content. We quickly identified a notable absence of local ESG content in the market, particularly for businesses interested in embracing ESG values. Existing content during that period either lacked credible sources or was inherently difficult to interpret.

Solution
Star Media Group launched the StarESG Academy alongside the ESG Positive Impact Awards. This educational initiative would offer businesses essential resources to de-risk against ESG factors and facilitate dialogue for deep learning among industry peers.

In response to heightened market demand for sustainability reporting, the Group Events team orchestrated an ESG Sustainability Reporting Workshop. This workshop targeted professionals seeking effective methodologies for measuring and monitoring progress towards sustainability objectives and articulating their company’s sustainability initiatives in a substantive manner to stakeholders.

To enhance the event’s credibility, we secured the participation of renowned experts in sustainability reporting, including Datin Dr. Vijayalakshmi Samuel (AGV Environment Sdn. Bhd.), Ms. Tina Thomas (Boardroom Pte. Ltd.), Koh Jia Fang (Ernst & Young Consulting Sdn. Bhd.) and Phang Oy Cheng (KPMG Malaysia).

The event was a resounding success. Within two weeks of the first ad, we had already exceeded our target number of attendees by 20%.

14. All rules & character strokes	Minimum 0.5 points Thin rules & small light typeface lettering/text should be restricted to single colour solid printing

16. Colour ads	Do not contain Spot, LAB or RGB colours. Please convert Spot / Pantone colours to CMYK
17. Format & Compatibility	Acrobat 6 and above (PDF 1.5) without crop marks and bleed. Ensure file can be separated correctly.
18. For Grayscale images	Highlight 7% to 9% Shadow 85% to 90%
19. The background	On which the text is to be printed on should be hollowed out. Text should be boldface sans serif typeface.
